I reside in the San Francisco Bay Area where I established the Shambhala Sound Space, the headquarters for the Vox Mundi School an inviting environment devoted to presenting master classes, adventurous experimental concerts, and digital media explorations, drawing a creative community of sound practitioners and musicians.

Curriculum designer at New York Open Center’s Integrative Sound Institute. Faculty at CIIS’s Asian Contemplative and Transcultural Studies (ACTS), Trainee’s mentor at the CIIS’s Center for Psychedelic Therapies and Research.

Voice of the Worlds
Vox Mundi, founded in 1988 in Italy by Grammy-nominated composer, interdisciplinary scholar, and vocal artist Silvia Nakkach, remains the only organization of its kind, supporting transcultural and integrative education through music with an international faculty of celebrated musicians, wisdom teachers, shamans, and artists, with the aspiration of revitalizing chanting as a transformative and healing art worldwide.

Is dedicated to Teaching, performing, and preserving Indigenous, classical, and sacred musical traditions. Combining transcultural music, sound design, and vocal arts with an emphasis on service and spiritual practice promoting the classical music of North India, particularly the Dhrupad art form, through teaching, mentoring, and training at all levels.
